I'll be there on the Saturday to pick up my new XP ltd ski from Tom, going to take my Nikon D200 camera to get a few snaps of the racing etc. Not looking to the 10 hour round trip though.

Saturday is race day, so no day launch, Sunday normal day....

you never know, i might get up there the weekend after too 
i know all about the drive, i picked mine up from plymouth last weekend. it was worth the drive though

How long did it take you to get down here and then back with the ski on the back. Did you do it in one day.

How long did it take you to get down here and then back with the ski on the back. Did you do it in one day.

we went down to sevenoaks to stay with friends on the friday night, and then went to plymouth from there, and took it back to kent again.
it took from 0600 to 1830 but that did include getting stuck in very long traffic jam, stopping for food and a water test.
i should think the water test took about two hours.
the sat nav reckoned a five hour drive from sleaford to plymouth, so you could do it in a day.
might be able to meet you up at tattershall. let me know when you'll be there mate.

I've just booked a B&B about 1 mile from the lake for Friday night so i'll be fresh for Saturday to watch the racing then travel back the Saturday night so I can have the ski all day Sunday  . Would be cool to meet up on the Saturday and say hi.
