FNT Rnd 4 .........VENUE CHANGE

We were supposed to be at Stockton on Tees but that has now changed. The Tees Barrage management has changed and Calum has been working hard with them to try and keep the event going, but the escalating costs and beaurocracy are just too much, so we have all agreed change the venue. Thanks for all your help Calum.

We had a successful round 2 here and are looking forward to repeating that. Thanks to Mick and James for accomodating us.

We will be running as follows:

Saturday -        Am / beginner Freestyle at 1.00 pm
                      FNT Stock fun Slalom   at 3.00 pm

Sunday -          Stand-up slalom at 11.00 am
                      Sit-down slalom at 11.30 am
                      FNT stock freestyle at 12.30pm
                      Pro/ Open Freestyle at 2.00pm

The Beginner Clinic, and indeed advanced clinc, with Rick and Lisa will be running all weekend as usual.
Camping for the Saturday night is free.
Stanton Lakes have asked that there are no camp fires throughout the weekend.
There will be the normal restaurant on Saturday night serving a range of good food at sensible prices.

There is however an additional aspect to this weekend, albeit on the Friday.
Stanton Lakes are hosting a Pink Floyd Tribute band, Dark Side of the Wall, who will be performing an open-air concert on the decking- The Great Gig on the Lake.

The concert starts at 8.30pm.
Tickets are just £10.00 each. There will also be a barbeque available. All FNT riders there on the Friday night will have to buy a ticket and pay for camping for the Friday night only, assuming you're camping there!! This will also need to be pre-booked.

The lake will close on the Friday only at 5.00pm.
This a big open-air event for Stanton Lakes and the FNT is a late-comer to the party!! So if you're a Pink Floyd fan, or even just enjoy good music in a great setting, come along and make a real weekend of it - live music, good food, beer and jetskiing.........happy days, although of course not all together (you can't eat and ski at the same time!!!!!)

We are not sure how promptly we can start on the Saturday morning depending on what needs to be dismantled from the previous night so we have put Ams back to 1pm as a precaution.
