How far is it to / from Sheppey  , if we're ski-ing from Clacton and back again we'll need to make sure we have enough fuel.

Wow thats abit of a trek  from herne bay and around sheppey and back is about 55 or so miles. you must have very big tanks??

That's a same guy's  adam and i where talking about bring petrol can's down so people traveling across from clacton and southend could gas up so you dont have to swim back  let us know guy's if you need fuel? at cost of course

To remind everyone.
- 10:00am meet
- Prelaunch briefing circa 10:45
- Bring proof of insurance
- PFD's mandatory - additional safety equipement at your discretion
- £5 event fee
- Spare fuel
- For those that are using their ski for the first time this season, firstly shame on you
 , secondly ensure the ski is good to run.
Will will have VHF radios for the cruises, however, if you have one please bring it as the more the merrier.
Sunday there is a fishing competition, so please be aware the slip will be busy from 10 - 11 and 2-3.
Weather is looking good, so it's going to be a great day. Look forward to seeing you all |

As It looks like I will be mobilising the whole family I wont be there for 10am. So will catch up with people when I get there.
Can I turn up and launch on my own wwhen we get there using the public slip, if so which one should I use?

no probles m8, the main slip is the concrete one called neptunewhich from the trailer carpark, you cannot miss it. There will still be plenty of peeps around so no biggy. What time do you think you will be arriving and we can (within reason) delay the main cruise as at the beginning I am sure we will be doing a bit of wavejumping off the pier end .

And is 4 mins from the slip
FUEL 2
is food and there are chippys and a great cafe opposite the car park, a number of us are having a 8:30 fatboy brekky. Taffy, you're gonna miss out
Also Shoreplay (Jetski shop) is opposite too for anything you may have forgotten or if you want to pop in and say hi to Nigel.
