Kawasaki stx 1100 cylinder re sleeve

Its my first post on here so sorry if its in the wrong place.

I am looking for some advice on resleeving the cylinders on a stx1100, as i am not familiar with this engine. I have seen that the sleeves have to be bored out as they where casted in to the block.

However on a spare block i have, i have actually managed to remove them without machining. 

My main question is are the sleeves that are sold here in the uk a fitment where the full existing sleeve needs to be removed or is the external diameter slightly smaller than the original factory fit ones? Therefore meaning that the existing sleeves are not fully removed to install the new ones?
