  1. I'm reluctantly selling my 1994 Yamaha Superjet 701cc 'square nose' along with a factory zero tote. I actually bought this from a forum member a few years ago, but I just don't get the time to take it out any more and it's such a waste of a beautiful machine to be stuck in the garage not used. I can't express how reliable this machine is, these 701cc Yamaha engines are bullet proof and this one is a great example. The only work I've have to do to it since buying is replace the spark plug, cap and fuel primer. I also treated it to a new battery last year. This has always been thoroughly flushed through with fresh water immediately after going in the sea. I'm selling it with a factory zero tote, which currently retails new at £650 on Freeride Innovations site. This is a very clean example of a great ski and I'm gutted to be selling it, but it's someone else's turn to enjoy the beast now. Any questions please message me on here in the first instance. If you're seriously interested, I can give you my number. I'm based on the south coast, just west of Brighton, BN16 postcode. It doesn't have a road trailer, just the factory zero tote, so you'd need a trailer or van to collect it. I'm asking £1500 o.n.o.

    VX 110 Deluxe Value

Hi all After some help in valuing my VX110 Deluxe as thinking of selling due to no time to use it. It's a 2008 in Black in fantastic condition and only done 110 hours, regularly serviced and comes with manuals, 2 keys, Bramber roller trailer, cover, sand anchor, wetsuits, knee board etc Many thanks in advance for any help
  4. Its that time of year again when I'm getting loads of non-local help calls from around the country taking my hands-on work time up for free. So I have a Jetski helpline for technical diagnosis with possible suggestions to rectify the fault where possible or can even talk you through it while you do it (very detailed). Please ring (click) 091 31 30 30 69 calls are charged at £1.50pm plus your phone providers access charge. premium price but may work out a cheap fix if you can do yourself or guide you repairing/ rebuilding your own. No more keyboard warriors, guessing what your problem is! or 3 different opinions. I've been repairing jetskis professionally as a business for over 9 years (and much longer on my own ones). It may be able to sort your problem out in 10 mins and only cost £15 (+ your mobile network charges). This is by a full time experienced jetski degree qualified engineer, not a scripted standard answer by a foreigner! The calls i have had had all gone away happy with the info i've given, some done in a couple of minutes (which is fine). I'm still repairing skis for a living every day and only work on skis! More detail on the website if needed.

    Blaster 1 won't rev up

Howsit guys. Having problems with my new blaster one. Bought the ski in pieces about a year ago but only started working on it 6 months agom. It's a 94 blaster 1 single carb with a Riva red pipe. The ski has been rockered by myself and my brother. Built the motor with new gasket set and new carb kit. Motor starts with in a second of pushing the starter. Idles hundred percent but just won't rev up. It gets up two about 25 percent of the rev range and it just bogs. We've removed the heat sensor from the head, we have rebuilt the carbs and gone through them over 5 times. Checked the timing of the motor. Replaced the coils. Checked the pick ups on the fly wheel.. we don't know what else to do. Could any one help?

    1998 GP1200 Waverunner

Hello all, last year I was given a 1998 (I believe) Yamaha GP1200 Waverunner. I put a new battery in it and cleaned the spark plugs and it fired up no problem. Just a few questions about it (some may sound stupid never worked on jetskis before). 1.) Is it self lubricating or do I need to mix the fuel and oil before I add it into the tank? 2.) It didn't run in 15 years is there anything I should check on it? 3.) The quick shift trim system won't move at all, is there anyway to fix this? (I'm taking it somewhere in Northern Ireland to get serviced) Thanks

  13. Hello there, We currently have a a 2007 FX 160 HO (and absolutely love it!) Its our second ski and isn't quite as tidy as the VX110 Sport we had before it. Despite having 200 hours on it when we bought it, its been bought from Jet craft who serviced it regularly its whole life, mechanically it seems to be spot on. With this said I'd like to get some feedback from a few other owners about tips and tricks to keep the ski running like new for a couple hundred more (salt water) hours. Other than the more obvious washing, flushing, wd40 dustings i'm wondering about greasing inside steering lines and throttle cables...or perhaps any maintenance thats required to the handle bars to keep them steering smoothly etc and that kind of stuff. However, on this thread as the title suggests id like to hear from anyone who has already or intends to replace some or all of the rusty hose clips and clamps dotted around the inside of the ski. I'm convinced that this will be something a few people are interested in doing as these 2007 models are nearly 10 years old now so even the fastidious owners will probably have a couple of hard to reach clamps that are past their best. Sadly most of mine need doing,(i am told that this is because the ski lived on the sea aboard a yacht for most of its life so despite being mechanically sound its a little rustier than some inside) ill take pics next time im with the ski but for now id love to here from the following: Anyone who knows the size and quantity of the various clamps and clips needed. Anyone who can recommend the best replacements and a decent supplier/retailer. Anyone who has done this and can offer advice or would like to do this and wants to share findings. Many Thanks in advance, Ant.
